The Harvard Iranian Gala is a black-tie evening that honors leading community members. The Gala strives to bring together leading professionals, artists, and academics who have dedicated themselves to furthering the study, understanding, and appreciation of Iranian culture, history, and society. The vision of the Gala is to mobilize and empower the next generation of leaders in the Iranian community. To that end, proceeds from the Gala will go to the Harvard Undergraduate Iranian Association and toward the advancement of Iranian studies at Harvard University.
Harvard Undergraduate Iranian Association (HUIA) is an officially recognized student group operating at Harvard University. HUIA aims to bridge the gap between Iranian and non-Iranian students in the Harvard community by promoting cross-cultural understanding and fostering appreciation of Iranian culture, history, and society.
HUIA’s flagship initiative is the Harvard Iranian Gala, a forum to honor the achievements of diverse members of the Iranian community. The Gala serves to connect current and future leaders and to engender a greater appreciation of the Persian culture and heritage.
